Loos & Co., Inc. Celebrates Successful 2014 MD&M West Trade Show

The Loos & Company Medical Technologies Division exhibited at the 2014 MD&M West Trade show from February 11th-13th in Anaheim, CA. The items on display centered around our stainless steel medical wire and cable products, specifically those destined for the Medical Device Marketplace.

There was high turnout at our booth, as new and existing customers had the opportunity to discuss applications and potential benefits of employing our products in endoscopes, catheters, and tubing processing.

"We noticed increased interest in our fine, round wire products for use in guide wire and braiding/coiling applications," remarked Robert Davis, Sales and Marketing Manager for the Medical Technologies Division. "With the expansion of our manufacturing capacity, and the introduction of Elasticore® Medical Extrusion Core Wire, Loos & Company is now truly a leader in stainless steel medical wire and cable products."

The three day show provided a valuable opportunity for medical device designers and manufacturers to learn more about the Loos & Company Medical Technologies division. On display were products that represented our fine wire drawing capabilities, soon to be expanded to included diameters as small as .0015", available in a variety of stainless alloys, including 304V, 305, 316LVM, 321, and other nickel alloy offerings. Guests at our booth could also see examples of the high quality strand and cable products made from these wires, including 1x7 constructions as small as .006" in diameter and 7x7 cables with a finished diameter of .016".

If you did not get the opportunity to visit, information about these and all products available from the Loos & Company Medical Technologies Division is available on our website: www.looscomedtech.com.
